Will you antique addicts and vintage vampires ever be satisfied? We started with twenty stores; then it was thirty, forty — and now we’re closing in on fifty stores in the DC, Virginia and Maryland area! Two of our latest stores bear a similarity in that they are most widely known as purveyors of antique hardware and/or architectural salvage. They’re perfect if you’re trying to restore or furnish an older home, or give a more modern home some of the charm of yesteryear.
Located in DC’s legendary Adams Morgan neighborhood, a visit to the Brass Knob ranks up their with a visit to some of DC’s museums. From small hardware items like marble and glass door knobs — and probably brass ones too 🙂 — to much larger pieces like antique mantels, you’re guaranteed to find what you need to add some authenticity to your historic home. For ATTIC, their listings focus on antique mantels, vintage furniture, and original lighting fixtures.
Just outside of DC’s northeast border in Hyattsville Maryland, you’ll find an amazing warehouse full of original historic home components at the Community Forklift. While their warehouse offers much, much more, you’ll be able to see their vintage and antique furniture finds on ATTIC. You’ll find a few things arguably even cooler too though — try this vintage jukebox for example.
Keep your eyes on our main Browse page for the newest supply of vintage and antique goods from these and ATTIC’s other stores.
