The District’s vintage and used furniture scene has hit a rough patch over the past few years. Fortunately, some of our losses are being offset by the opening of stores in nearby Baltimore. Wishbone Reserve, which first opened its doors in 2015, is one of the more recent additions to ATTIC.
Located beside Jones Falls river, Wishbone Reserve is the creation of Julie Lilienfeld and Athena Alban Hoffberger. In addition to vintage furniture, they sell vintage clothing, smalls and curios, and area rugs. In their own words, their “modus operandi is in providing YOU with mega affordable bargains of pure delight, be it for your student dorm, a first home, a prized wedding or birthday gift, or to outfit a castle or beach home.”
Their eclectic mix of furniture covers a wide variety of styles, including hollywood regency, art deco and midcentury modern. Check out their store page for some recent items. Their vintage housewares and decorative items (including area rugs) will be listed in ATTIC Flea. We’re very happy to include Wishbone among a growing number of new stores in and around Baltimore (see also the addition of Agent Upcycle).
