ATTIC started as an experiment only weeks ago, but the initial reports are very encouraging. So far, we’ve heard about sales and customer referrals from stores all over the DC-metro area.
Our first reported and confirmed sale came from Mom N Pop Antiques of Petworth DC, which sold an ATTIC Editor’s Pick vintage bird cage as well as a mirror to a customer that first learned about us through our Instagram feed. And even before our official public launch, marked by a party at Miss Pixie’s, we heard of additional sales from Trohv (Takoma) and Off the Beaten Track Warehouse (NE DC), both of which are also ATTIC featured stores.
The good news has continued to come our way from stores like Urban Tastes (Petworth) which sold this wonderful hand-painted, empire-style wood dresser. Miss Pixie’s of Logan Circle reported the sale of this vintage solid wood banker’s chair. Additional referrals have been reported by Bentley’s Vintage Furnishings and DC Treasure of Petworth, Peg Leg Vintage of College Park, MD, and Rust & Refind of Alexandria, VA.
Has your store received an ATTIC referral? Or have you purchased something you found on ATTIC? We’d love to hear about it.
